It was a quiet afternoon when Bibi and Dad spotted a little dog near the gate — wet, dirty, and shivering. The poor pup looked like it had been lost for days.
Bibi’s eyes widened with concern. “Dad, we have to help him!”
Dad nodded with a warm smile. “Let’s give him a nice bath and make him feel better.”
They gently carried the dog to the backyard, placing him carefully in a soft towel. Bibi patted his head and whispered, “Don’t worry, little guy. You’re safe now.”
They filled a tub with warm water, added a bit of gentle soap, and slowly began washing the pup. Bibi helped rinse his fur while Dad carefully scrubbed away the mud. The dog’s tail wagged just a little — a sign he knew he was in good hands.
After the bath, they wrapped him in a cozy towel and dried him with the hairdryer on low. Bibi even brushed his fur and gave him a small snack, which the dog happily munched.
When they were done, the once-scared pup looked like a brand-new dog — clean, soft, and full of life! He wagged his tail wildly and even gave Bibi a big lick on the cheek.
Dad chuckled. “Looks like you made a new friend!”
Bibi beamed. “He’s not just a friend — he’s family now.”
And just like that, a small act of kindness turned into something truly special — a new bond, a happy dog, and a day Bibi would never forget.
Because sometimes, love is shown in the way we care — even with soap, towels, and a whole lot of heart.
