Every day was special for little monkey Lala, but the best days were the ones spent with Thuy and Xuka — the two humans who loved her like family.
From the moment Lala woke up, they were there. Thuy would greet her with a soft voice, brushing her fur gently while whispering, “Good morning, sunshine.” Xuka always brought a little banana snack — just the way Lala liked it: peeled halfway, with a tiny heart carved into the side.
“Ready for your big day, princess?” Xuka would ask.
Lala would nod excitedly, tail wiggling, ready for another fun-filled day of being pampered, loved, and cared for.
They washed her with warm water, carefully drying her with the fluffiest towel. Then came the best part: dressing up! Sometimes Lala wore a polka-dot dress, other days a soft little romper with her name stitched on the pocket.
Thuy would smile and say, “You look beautiful,” while Xuka added, “And very important!”
Throughout the day, they played together, shared fruit snacks, and even had mini tea parties under the shade of the garden tree. And when Lala felt sleepy, Thuy would carry her like a baby, and Xuka would hum a lullaby until her little eyes closed.
Lala always felt warm inside. Not just from the food, or the comfy clothes, or the gentle hands — but from the deep, true love they gave her.
No matter what the day brought, Lala knew one thing:
When Thuy and Xuka were near, her heart felt full.
As she snuggled in their arms each evening, Lala would smile and think,
“I am loved. I am safe. I am home.”
