Early one sunny morning, Lala woke up with a big smile. Today wasn’t just any day—it was farm day! Mom had asked Lala to help pick fresh tomatoes for lunch, and the little monkey couldn’t wait to get started.
With her little sunhat and a basket in hand, Lala skipped happily down the path to the farm. The smell of the earth and the warm breeze filled the air as rows of bright red tomatoes glowed under the sun.
“Wow! They’re so shiny and round!” Lala giggled, carefully picking the ripest ones and placing them gently into her basket.
A butterfly fluttered by, and Lala paused to admire it—but she didn’t forget her mission. “Mom needs these for cooking,” she reminded herself with a proud nod.
After filling the basket, Lala carried it back home with all her strength. “I did it, Mom!” she cheered as she handed over the harvest.
Mom smiled warmly. “You picked the best tomatoes, Lala. Let’s cook together!”
In the kitchen, Lala stood on her little stool and helped wash the tomatoes. She watched as Mom chopped and stirred, and soon the delicious smell of tomato stew filled the house.
Lala even added her own touch—a sprinkle of fresh herbs she picked from the garden.
When the meal was ready, the family gathered around the table.
“This is the best tomato dish ever!” said Dad.
Mom winked at Lala. “That’s because it was made with love—and Lala’s tomatoes!”
Lala beamed with pride, knowing she had truly helped.
Because for Lala, helping Mom and sharing a home-cooked meal is one of the happiest feelings in the world.
