Today was no ordinary day—Bibi was going to the farm! As soon as he heard the word “vegetables,” Bibi clapped his hands with excitement. He wasn’t just tagging along—he had a mission: to pick the freshest veggies and cook a delicious meal!
Wearing his tiny sun hat and carrying a small basket, Bibi followed Dad through rows of green fields. His eyes sparkled as he spotted bright red tomatoes, shiny eggplants, and crispy green beans.
“Ooh! Look at this big carrot!” Bibi squealed, tugging it out of the dirt with both hands. He carefully picked only the ripest and cleanest vegetables, gently brushing off the soil and placing them neatly into his basket.
After a successful harvest, Bibi returned home and got right to work in the kitchen. He washed every veggie, lined them up on the counter, and started chopping—with help from Dad, of course!
With a little oil, garlic, and a sprinkle of salt, the kitchen soon filled with the mouthwatering aroma of fresh stir-fried vegetables. Bibi even made a small veggie soup and a sweet corn salad, proud of every colorful dish.
Just before lunch, Bibi invited the whole family to sit down. “Everything here is from the farm,” he announced proudly, “and I picked it all myself!”
Everyone took a bite—and smiled wide. “So fresh and tasty!” said Mom. “You’ve become quite the little chef, Bibi!”
Bibi beamed with joy. From field to fork, he had done it all. And more than anything, he had learned how special food is when you grow it with care and cook it with love.
