Lala helps Mom harvest grapefruit at the farm!

The sun was just rising over the green hills when Lala jumped out of bed, full of excitement. Today was a special day — she was going to help Mom harvest grapefruit at the family farm!

Wearing her little straw hat and tiny gloves, Lala followed closely behind Mom, skipping happily along the dirt path. The trees were full of big, round grapefruits, glowing golden-yellow under the morning sun.

“Look, Mommy!” Lala pointed. “That one’s as big as my head!”

Mom laughed, handing Lala a small basket. “Let’s pick the ripe ones together, sweetie.”

Lala stretched up on her tiptoes, trying to reach the low branches. She gently twisted the fruit, just like Mom showed her, and carefully placed each one into her basket. With every grapefruit she picked, her smile grew bigger.

Occasionally, she would stop to smell the fruit or wipe her forehead like a “real farmer.” Mom couldn’t help but take a few photos — her little helper looked so proud and serious!

After a couple of hours, their baskets were full, and the farm was filled with the fresh citrusy scent of the harvest. Mom and Lala sat under a tree for a break, sharing slices of juicy grapefruit and laughing about the one that almost fell on Lala’s foot!

“You did amazing today,” Mom said, brushing hair from Lala’s forehead.

Lala beamed. “I want to help every time!”

That day wasn’t just about farming — it was about learning, bonding, and the sweet joy of working side-by-side. And as the sun began to set, Lala looked at the rows of trees with pride in her heart.

Because sometimes, the best harvest isn’t just fruit — it’s the memories made together.
