It was a sunny morning when little monkey Bibi noticed something… odd.
Dad was standing in the yard, holding a leash in one hand and a confused look on his face. Beside him sat Poppy, their fluffy little dog, wagging her tail and waiting patiently.
“Um… Bibi?” Dad called. “How do I… walk her?”
Bibi giggled and skipped over, hands on her hips like a tiny expert. “Don’t worry, Dad! I’ll teach you everything.”
Dad raised an eyebrow. “You’re the teacher now?”
“Yep!” Bibi beamed. “Lesson one: treats first!” She handed him a small snack. “Poppy only walks nicely when she gets a reward.”
Dad knelt down and gave Poppy the treat. Her tail wagged faster.
“Lesson two: talk to her like a friend,” Bibi continued. “She likes sweet words.”
Dad cleared his throat and said, “Let’s go, Poppy… uh, good girl?”
“More love!” Bibi insisted. “Try: ‘Who’s a beautiful fluffy puppy?’”
Dad chuckled, but followed instructions. Poppy barked happily and trotted beside them.
“Lesson three,” Bibi said proudly, “Always bring water, and don’t forget to let her sniff the flowers!”
As they walked through the garden, Poppy sniffed every tree, and Dad started to enjoy it too.
Later, they sat on the porch, watching Poppy nap in the shade.
“You were right, Bibi,” Dad said. “You really know how to care for her.”
Bibi grinned. “I told you — I’m the dog boss!”
Dad laughed. “Well then, boss… what’s lesson four?”
Bibi leaned in and whispered, “Cuddle time.”
And just like that, Dad, Bibi, and Poppy all snuggled together under the afternoon sun — a perfect team.
