The sun was shining, the water sparkled, and laughter filled the air — it was the day of the neighborhood monkey swim race!

BiBi stood proudly at the edge of the pond, wearing her favorite swim cap (covered in tiny bananas, of course) and a big smile on her face. All her friends had gathered: Lala, Kaka, Mit, and even tiny Tutu, who wore floaties twice the size of her arms.

“Ready, swimmers?” called Uncle Phong, holding a whistle.

BiBi wiggled her toes and gave her friends a confident nod. “Let’s make it fun!”

Tweet! The whistle blew, and SPLASH! They all jumped into the cool water.

BiBi kicked her legs fast, arms moving strong and steady. Lala splashed beside her, giggling between strokes. Kaka was a speed machine, and even little Tutu paddled with all her might.

The crowd on the bank cheered loudly — parents, neighbors, and even a few chickens clucked in excitement!

BiBi felt the breeze on her face and the thrill in her chest. She wasn’t just swimming — she was flying through the water, side by side with her best friends.

As they neared the finish line, BiBi gave it one last burst of energy—swoosh! She reached the edge just milliseconds after Kaka.

“I got second!” she gasped, beaming.

Kaka high-fived her. “That was awesome, BiBi!”

Uncle Phong handed out shiny banana medals to everyone. “You all did amazing!”

After the race, the friends enjoyed cold fruit smoothies under the shade trees, still dripping with pond water and laughter.

BiBi looked around at her smiling friends and thought, Winning is fun… but swimming together is the best part of all.
