Lala Takes Advantage of Cooking While Waiting for CEO Kien to Go to the Market!

Who says waiting has to be boring? While CEO Kien was off to the market—probably comparing carrot prices and arguing over the freshness of fish—Lala turned the kitchen into her personal playground.

Armed with a spatula, a playlist of K-pop hits, and way too much enthusiasm for 8 AM, Lala got to work. She didn’t have the full grocery haul yet, but that never stopped a true kitchen warrior. A couple of eggs, leftover rice, a mysterious jar of sauce, and boom—magic in the making.

By the time CEO Kien returned (looking proud with three bags of produce and possibly a bruised ego from haggling), the kitchen was filled with the aroma of sizzling garlic and soy. Lala greeted him with a sly grin, ladle in hand. “You were gone too long,” she said. “So I had to survive.”

Kien, slightly flustered but impressed, peeked into the pan. “Is that… breakfast fried rice?”

“Survival fried rice,” Lala corrected. “Made with love. And leftovers.”

There’s a lesson in here somewhere—about creativity, patience, or maybe just how to keep yourself fed while your CEO plays bargain hunter. Either way, Lala proved that with a little imagination and a lot of garlic, you can turn waiting time into delicious moments.

Because when life gives you downtime, Lala makes lunch.
