It was just another peaceful afternoon when sweet little Lala suddenly became quiet and sluggish. Usually full of playful energy, she now lay curled up in her cozy bed, her face looking tired and her eyes slightly teary. When Mom touched her forehead, her heart sank—it was burning hot.
Lala had a high fever.
Worried and full of concern, Mom quickly wrapped her in a soft towel and checked her temperature. Lala wasn’t interested in her favorite snacks, not even sweet bananas or warm soup. She gently pushed the food away, rested her head on Mom’s shoulder, and closed her eyes with a soft whimper.
Mom didn’t wait a moment—she immediately took Lala to the clinic for animals, where a kind doctor examined her carefully. The doctor confirmed that Lala had a viral fever and needed rest, fluids, and medicine to recover. Thankfully, it wasn’t serious if treated early.
Back at home, Mom stayed by Lala’s side all night, giving her water, wiping her forehead, and gently singing to comfort her. The love and care between them was strong and unwavering.
Though Lala was weak, she knew she was safe in Mom’s arms. And even though she couldn’t say it, her little eyes showed how thankful she was.
Now, Lala is resting, slowly sipping warm drinks and starting to smile again. With Mom’s love and close care, she’s already showing signs of feeling better.
