Monkey sits every day waiting for her family to visit her.

In a small wooden shelter by the garden gate, a little monkey named Kiki sits quietly every morning. With her soft brown fur and kind eyes, Kiki is known by all the neighbors—not for being loud or playful, but for her quiet, steady waiting.

Each day, after her breakfast, she goes to the same spot, sits down, and faces the road. No toys in her hands, no distractions—just her, the open gate, and hope.

Kiki used to live with her family in a cozy home filled with laughter. She remembers Dad’s warm voice, Mom’s gentle hugs, and the sweet treats they used to bring her. But lately, they’ve been away—busy, far, and only visiting once in a while.

Still, Kiki never stops waiting.

Sometimes, a scooter passes by, and her ears perk up. She stands, tail swaying, eyes wide. But it’s not them. She sits again, quietly, faithfully. The wind blows through the trees, and the sun moves across the sky—but Kiki doesn’t leave.

“She’s waiting for her family,” the gardener tells a visitor. “She does this every day.”

And then one sunny afternoon, the gate creaks open.

“Kiki!”

Her ears twitch. Her head turns. That voice—it’s Mom. She leaps up, races to the gate, and jumps straight into her arms.

Laughter, kisses, and happy tears fill the air. Dad brings her a ripe banana, and Mom whispers, “We missed you so much.”

Kiki clings to them tightly. Her wait is over—for now.

Because for this little monkey, family is everything, and even if the visits are far apart, the love never fades.
